Tomorrow, Mud and I head out to hike the Grand Enchantment Trail.
This is a 770 mile route that connects the cities of Phoenix and Albuquerque through a series of mountains, canyons and desert. Our plan is to start in Albuquerque and walk west for about 4 weeks and see where we end up.
like the CDT and the PNT, the GET is more of a route than a specific trail. It's a series of single track trails, ATV roads, dirt roads, and canyon washes that one walks to experience the diverse landscapes of the American southwest.
We we left Seattle a few days ago and are still in the process of driving to Albuquerque. Hopefully we'll be on the trail soon!
